It feels like summer flew by. These boys partied hard and lived it up. In my opinion, this was seriously one of the best summers we've ever had as a family- and not because all 3 went to Grandma's for 3 weeks so I could have some downtime :)
I heard someone say once that when you have a kid, you only have 18 summers with them. We all had such a great summer this year, it makes me a LITTLE sad to think we've only got 10 more before Austin's off to college (hopefully).
I look at how good these kids have got it, how much fun they have, how well they are treated, how many people love them, and the memories they'll always take with them... and I just feel lucky.

As we all know, I've neglected the blog a bit. The end result is that the last posts from the summer are not in chronological order, but lumped by event. I figure 'better late than never', 'better sloppy than not at all' and, of course, 'if you don't like it, bite me'.
Okay maybe I'm just a moron, but I had no idea about this...did you guys know that Brad Pitt went to Parkwood Elementary until he moved to Springfield? Did you know that he lived in Brookside subdivision from the time he was born until like 3rd or 4th grade?
