Nate Goes to School

It technically isn't the first time Nate went to school, but it's the first time that he's old enough to 'get it'. On the way to the school, Austin asked "Are you scared Nathan?"... Nathan said, "I'm not scared, I'm SO happy!"

Nate had a rough time. While he's ok with being with sitters, he's not used to being ALONE (not with his brothers). When I dropped him off, he waved goodbye and said, "See you yater, Mommy!!" A little while later, there was some crying. He didn't eat breakfast or lunch. Finally, when I picked him up in the afternoon, he ran over crying "Mommy! Mommy" and held me tight. When the teacher came over, Nate looked up at her and said, "Mommy's not gone anymore".

All the way home and into the evening he kept saying, "I'm back." "Mommy's back." "Nathan's back."

We kept saying how proud we were of him and what a great job he did. He sounded willing to go back... sort of.

I have no idea what he did to his pants. He had them on for exactly 3 minutes and still managed to dirty them.

By this time, Nate's sick of the pix and stopped cooperating.

Sunday at the Park

While everyone else was playing soccer, AJ was standing on the side playing with his cell phone.

I don't know why, but I LOVE pix of the boys running.

I kept trying to get pix of AJ, but he kept running away... Austin's laughing bc I finally got a shot of AJ!

As you can see, they need to cut the grass.

This is the jiu jitsu move called "spanking the baby".

October Walmart Lego Build

AJ decided to stray from the plans. He did a great job!

Grandma- this is what Nate was doing on the phone the other day.

On Blues Clue's the dog does a little jig then jumps into a picture... the song goes, "Blue skidoos...we can too!" Nate does this all day long now.

The Park Last Weekend

He wasn't happy to go to the park, but he got happy when we got there.

This kid is growing like a weed!

This is a new game the boys call "Racing"

There's a tunnel at the park. This was more fun than the million dollars worth of play equipment they had there.

Christmas Info

I deleted Grandma's post... the boys look at the blog and AJ and Austin's starting to read. I cut the info from the original post and added the info as comments to the Christmas list I put on here in Sept....that way, it's at least in one place and not so obvious!

No Recent Pictures

I got a little carried away with cleaning up our laptop in preparation for the arrival of our new computer, and I uninstalled Photoshop. I'll reinstall it today so we can continue to upload pictures. Anyway, that's why there haven't been any recent updates to the blog. Not Nina's fault!
