They've taken their empty new shoe boxes and made "snack" boxes, full of chips, candy etc. Pillows, booeys, stuffed animals....they are all set. They are now decorating the cardboard walls with crayolas.

Hey Nina - Thanks for the Money!
Just thought I'd let you (and Mom) know that I went to the State of Missouri website, found that I was owed money by the state, made a few clicks and submitted my request. About a week later I got a $40 check in the mail from the state treasurer. It's all thanks to you! I am now rich beyond my wildest dreams. Okay, that's not true, but I have enough money now for a very nice dinner at Outback and I promise I will think of you momentarily from time to time whilst I devour my cheesy Aussie Fries.

Finally...the Cake.
Austin was very patient with us as we delayed his cake-eating by a day, and then once he'd finished dinner he had to sit and wait for us adults to eat. But it finally arrived and all was well.
