My Island

Okay, this one's for grandma.  I promised to send some pictures of the island I got for my birthday, so here they are.

Happy Rescue Day Parker!

It was one year ago today that I went and plucked this little boy out from the clutches of the nice people at Hope Rescues.  Hard to believe it's already been that long!

Here are some pictures in case you forgot what a dog looks like:

 I know they all seem to be him sleeping or lounging around in some way.  That's about the only time I can take his picture.  It's like he knows when a camera is pointed at him, even if it's on my phone.  Plus I think it makes for a nice contrast to the life he had before.

Thank you Dave and Mike for the beautiful bouquets.  Dave, yours showed up a little late tonight .  The delivery guy called and said he was the one who delivered my flowers earlier and realized he had another bouquet for me and could he come by and deliver it.  I, of course, said yes and he was here in  a few minutes with the flowers.  Mike, your bouquet is mostly pink, yellow and white tulips ..Really cool!  Dave, yours is carnations, and big yellow, red and pink roses.  Beautiful!!  thanks again.....Mom
