Thanks to Grandma and Papa for making this possible. The trip was amazing- Dave's project won, the food was great, the weather was outstanding... it was an all around perfect weekend!

Congrats to Dave!

Dave was picked for and just completed a very selective yearlong training program for Raytheon... as part of the training, the 60 trainees were randomly grouped into one of 10 teams to work on one of 10 different projects. (10 groups of 6 ppl each)

This program required traveling about 7 weeks in the past year and many hours of personal time working with his group.

*being chosen for this training program was a major accomplishment

*successfully completing the training was an accomplishment

*being chosen among his team members to manage the team was impressive

*WINNING the 'BEST IN SHOW' (first place) of all projects was a huge feat!!!


His team gets to pick prizes both for participating and for winning. The big prize he's picking (I think) is a big screen HDTV.

CONGRATS to Dave on an amazing job!

I forgot to post the most important thing... The boys got their report cards! AJ got an 'E' (excellent) in reading...

And Austin got 6 'E's on his report card & another citizenship award!

It was Squeaky's Birthday, so we celebrated at Chili's. Budgie came along, too. AJ was very pleased when the waitstaff came over and sang 'Happy Birthday' to his pal.

When we came home, we had cupcakes.
