The Video Is Complete

I solved the problem with burning the DVD, and this year's edition of the video will be in the mail tomorrow, assuming the post office isn't closed on New Year's Eve.

Thanks for the loot!

Hey everyone, thought I'd let you all know that I am back home at the Lake O'Ozarks. I just wanted to thank everyone for all the cool stuff I got this year. All gift cards have been spent on mindless hours of empty entertainment...just as it should be. Also, I think I'm gonna try and spruce up the blog here in the next day or two, so be watching for that.

Also, did you know that you can post video? A small video (with your webcam - yes it's possible) doesn't take much time to make/upload/download/watch. So feel free to have the boys send a message once in a while or something.

Finally, I know that we may not want this place to become a forum for stupid stuff like this, but I have a few links here that you might want to check out. If you don't read digg.com, you don't know what you're missing. Have a great weekend everyone!

Cutest picture EVER.

So here's the best picture ever:

Crappy Christmas Picture

Ok.. so here it is. Our weak-ass tree before we tore into our gifts. A great time was had by all. Oz and AJ couldn't be happier with the gifts they received and Nathan is just happy to put all the new tiny pieces of everything in his mouth- tape, paper, batteries, toy bits, all of it.
Tater's got 3 teeth coming up on top. He proved it by biting me on the shoulder on Christmas.
That's pretty much all I've got. OHHHH and I love, love, LOVE the iPod. Thanks a million!

Back From Miami

Hey, thought I'd make my debut on this blog. Finally, a forum in which I can espouse my radical right-wing agenda! When is someone going to have the courage to say "Screw poor people!" You know who I hate? Environmentalists, that's who! And don't get me started on the illegal immigrants!

When I'm not working myself up into a reactionary frenzy, maybe I'll post some news and some pictures of the boys...

We got back from Miami today - the boys had a great time playing with Johnny and Emily (David's kids.) We went to a Christmas party with most of the 30 grandchildren in attendance, and the boys still aren't used to all of the commotion. At one particularly loud point during the party, Austin was trying to talk to me, and he stopped in mid-sentence and said, "Can you tell all of these people to be quiet?"

Now, we're back at the condo. We have two - count 'em - two showings for the house tomorrow, and one "preview", which means the agent is going to stop by without the buyers. Fingers crossed! I'll be heading back to Tampa on Tuesday, and Nina and the boys will probably come to Tampa next weekend.

One other funny note - last night, on the local weather report in Miami, the weatherman spoke very earnestly about the cold wave coming next week. The 7-day forecast was shown on the screen, and the graphic next to Wednesday's hi/low temperature was a thermometer with icicles hanging off of it - it's supposed to get all the way down to 48 degrees, and the high is only supposed to be 68! Hopefully everyone down there remembers to pack blankets in the trunks of their cars in case they get stranded.

Crass Manipulation

Sure, it's a cute picture. Of course, it was part of A.J.'s pre-Christmas media blitz to get more presents. Just watch, we won't hear squat from him until his birthday rolls around.

Grandma's First Post

I will post next since we can't "comment" on other posts. Cutest picture is right. Anyway, I hope everyone uses and checks into this blog regularly and we can all keep in close touch. Mike loves doing stuff like this, so let's use it.

The Adorability Factor

Okay, so somewhere on the vast space that is the interwebs, there must be a website or expert of something that can define the empirical adorability of a particular picture. I guess there are too many factors to consider in such a judgment though. Like...does this kid love the bird he is holding, or is he foraging for his family, and happy with an especially tasty catch? Did his dad forget to pack the bird during a bit of interstate moving, or has he had it all along? And just who sent him this bird? Was it Santa...was it former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld...or was it a doting grandparent? All these things must be considered in order to completely define the cuteness. We have all this information though, and I have to alert you that what we have here is a Cutest-Case-Scenario.

Can we get a ruling on this one?

How about some Nathan?

Posting a picture is super easy. Just email me, and I will also show you (if you don't already know) how to post from anywhere just using an email.
