Summer Breeze

So this is where we're at now. I've been following the National Hurricane Center advisories since Friday afternoon, and the updates have been pretty consistent: the tropical event is still named Fay, and it will make landfall somewhere along the west coast of Florida, or perhaps the panhandle, or maybe South Florida as either a tropical storm or a hurricane sometime between Monday evening and Wednesday evening, or maybe not. It's pretty clear to me that we have somewhere between a 0% and a 100% chance of being affected by this storm.

At any rate, we're currently under a hurricane watch, which means that hurricane conditions are possible within 36 hours. Regardless of how this turns out, we used this opportunity to ensure we have all of our hurricane preparations complete. We'll see what happens.
